In implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in the Academic Bridge Initiative between Iraqi universities and British universities, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, Dean of the College, along with members of the College Council, held an electronic meeting with Dr. Lama, responsible for external relations at the University of Redneck, to activate the agreement signed between the University of Diyala and the University of Rednick The meeting, which took about an hour, dealt with several important topics for the development of the college, the most important of which are:
It was agreed on a development course to develop English speaking skills for teachers, which Dr. Lama will try to be free for teachers and presented by a professor from the University of Redneck. It was also agreed to activate training programs for teachers and send professors for a period of one or two months to the University of Redneck.
It was agreed to jointly supervise the students’ research and projects, as well as to receive professors from the University of Redneck as visiting professors. If they are unable to attend, the course can be offered online.
It was also agreed to help the students of the Department of Cinema and Television Arts in implementing their projects in the Department of Cinema and Television at the University of Redneck, as well as to help the students of the Department of Fine Arts in accessing British museums and libraries.
The meeting was fruitful if the foreign relations official confirmed that they were open to all forms of cooperation with our university
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College thanked the External Relations Officer for allocating time to listen to the needs of our College and examining how horizons of practical and direct cooperation could be opened between our College and the College of Fine Arts at the University of Redneck.
