The College of Arts receives two awards within the Imam Sadiq University (peace be upon him) Short Film Festival
Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the College of Fine Arts participated in the Imam Sadiq University (peace be upon him) Short Film Festival.
For his part, the teacher, Dr. Mohamed Samir Mohamed, who supervised the short films within the festival, mentioned that our college received the Best Editing Award and the Best Photography Award, in addition to certificates of participation for other films. These films are graduation projects for students of the Department of Cinema and Television Arts for the academic year 2022-2023.
The participating films focused on the positive aspects of our Iraqi society and also criticized negative phenomena and developed solutions and treatments for them.
The jury, composed of A. Dr.. Maher Majeed Dr. Ihsan Daadoush and Dr. Malaz Fouad Shahid, the artist, director Fares Tohme Al-Tamimi, and the artist Fouad Shahid Al-Bahli. Festival results. Among the results was that our college won two awards from the jury.
The jury praised the overall production of our students in terms of selecting ideas and employing advanced cinematic techniques.
