The Dean of the College of Fine Arts receives congratulations from the head of the Diyala Artists Syndicate and discusses with him prospects for artistic cooperation and partnership.

On Monday, September 15, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Jolan Hussein Alwan, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, received the President of the Diyala Artists Syndicate, Mr. Adnan bin Ahmed, who congratulated the deanship on assuming her new duties.

During the meeting, ways to enhance artistic and cultural cooperation between the college and the Artists Syndicate in the province were discussed. This would contribute to supporting the artistic movement and holding joint workshops and exhibitions that serve students and the community.

The Dean of the College expressed her gratitude and pride in this visit, emphasizing the college’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with art unions and federations to achieve integration between the academic and artistic fields.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to develop future work programs that include organizing joint artistic and cultural events to enhance the status of art and develop the talents of young people in Diyala.

This meeting has achieved one of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal 17: Partnerships to Achieve Goals.
