The Art Education Department holds its first meeting for the new academic year 2025-2026.

The Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala held its first meeting for the new academic year 2025-2026, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Fadhil Hassan, Head of the Department, and attended by faculty members. The meeting discussed academic and administrative plans in preparation for an academic year filled with achievement and excellence.
The meeting began by conveying the directives of the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Golan Hussein Alwan. Both emphasized the importance of adhering to the schedules of theoretical and practical lectures and creating an appropriate academic and educational environment for students.
During the meeting, they also emphasized the need to overcome any difficulties that students may face during their academic journey and to provide them with the necessary support from the teaching and administrative staff, contributing to fostering a positive and productive educational environment.
During the meeting, the Head of the Department, Dr. Ammar Fadhil Hassan, emphasized the importance of cooperation among faculty members to ensure a successful start to the academic year and to work as a team to achieve the academic and educational goals of the department. The meeting also urged faculty members to actively engage students in the “HBK” program, given its role in developing their skills and enhancing their creative abilities. It also highlighted the program’s positive aspects in serving the educational process within the college.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing to develop academic and administrative performance, working responsibly to advance scientific and artistic achievement, and achieving the college’s vision of preparing a creative generation that contributes to building society.
