The Faculty of Fine Arts Council holds its first open session for the new academic year 2025-2026.

The College of Fine Arts Council at the University of Diyala held its first regular open session for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Golan Hussein Alwan, Dean of the College, and attended by all Council members and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Zaid Manhal, representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Diyala Branch.

The Dean began the session with a welcoming speech in which he welcomed the attendees and conveyed the directives of the University of Diyala Presidency, emphasizing the need to pay close attention to these directives and implement them carefully and meticulously.

During the meeting, the Council discussed the progress of instruction for undergraduate students (morning and evening classes) and ways to provide a distinguished educational environment. It also discussed a number of academic and administrative issues related to faculty members and their role in advancing the academic landscape at the College.

The Council also discussed the results of the second round of the 2024-2025 academic year and approved the mechanism for distributing the results after the examination committees complete the marking and review work.

The council addressed the most significant obstacles facing the academic departments and made a series of decisions to address them and overcome difficulties in the service of our dear students.

The session concluded with the dean wishing the attendees and all college members success in their duties, emphasizing that the College Council will remain a platform to support the educational process and advance the academic mission in serving the community.
