The Department of Fine Arts organizes a scientific visit to the General Secretariat of the Central Library at the Presidency of Diyala University

In accordance with the directives of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, to open up to our students and educate them about information, the General Secretariat of the Central Library received on Wednesday morning, 13-11-2024, undergraduate students in the Department of Fine Arts, accompanied by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Jolan Hussein Alwan, and a number of the department’s instructors, to view the fifth annual book fair, which was held with the participation of a number of publishing houses under the slogan (Today a reader, tomorrow a leader). For her part, the Head of the Department of Fine Arts said: The exhibition was of great importance for the role it plays in encouraging students and researchers to read and increase their information and cultural awareness. At the end of the visit, the students expressed their admiration for the valuable books and references contained in the library, as well as the ease of access to the required book, the ease of borrowing, and providing general information to students, enabling them to continuously follow up on developments in knowledge in various fields and developing the desire to read and learn among students.
