The Department of Art Education obtains academic accreditation

The Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala, has received academic accreditation, a major achievement that reflects the college’s commitment to providing high-quality education. This accreditation enhances the department’s standing locally and regionally and contributes to strengthening the confidence of students and parents in the academic programs offered by the department.
The Dean of the College, Professor Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, said on this occasion: “Thanks to the efforts of our college staff, from the most junior staff member to the Head of the Art Education Department, Assistant Professor Hussein Muhammad Ali Shahada, to the members of the College Council, and the continuous follow-up of the University President, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, the Art Education Department at our college has obtained academic accreditation. It is the first department at the University of Diyala to obtain academic accreditation and the first department among the Colleges of Fine Arts in Iraq to obtain academic accreditation. I stand in reverence for all the efforts made to achieve this academic achievement.”
For his part, Assistant Professor Hussein Muhammad Ali Hussein Shahada congratulated the Art Education Department at the College of Fine Arts, Diyala University, on obtaining academic accreditation, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the college’s commitment to providing high-quality education. He also praised the department’s academic accreditation, saying, “Academic accreditation is a testament to the department’s excellence in providing distinguished educational programs in the field of art education, promoting scientific research and innovation, and serving the community by providing technical consultations and training programs.”
The importance of the department’s accreditation lies in its ability to: Art Education is based on academic accreditation, which reflects the department’s commitment to international quality standards. It enhances students’ employment opportunities after graduation, opens new horizons for research collaboration and cultural exchange, and reflects the department’s vision of graduating outstanding students in the field of art education.
The vision of the Art Education Department at the College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala, is to provide distinguished educational programs in the field of art education, promote scientific research and innovation, and serve the community by providing artistic consultations and training programs.
It is worth noting that the Art Education Department at our college is the first department to receive academic accreditation among the colleges of fine arts in Iraq, as well as the first department at the University of Diyala. It is also worth noting that the Department of Cinema and Television Arts will receive the Academic Accreditation Committee next week to review its accreditation file.
