The Dean of the College of Fine Arts follows up on tests and interviews for direct admission to morning studies.

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, Assistant Professor Dr. Golan Hussein Alwan, tests and interviews were conducted this morning, Sunday, September 21, 2025, for students applying for direct admission to morning classes for the new academic year.
During her follow-up, the Dean stated that these tests represent a fundamental first step in selecting talented students who will play an active role in supporting the artistic and creative movement in our country.
The academic departments at the college have begun conducting tests and interviews for students applying to the Art Education and Cinema and Television Arts departments, in accordance with the approved admission criteria for graduates of all preparatory studies, as well as talented students from vocational branches and graduates of fine arts institutes, in accordance with the established percentages and the college’s admissions plan.
For its part, the college has prepared all the necessary requirements for the success of the testing and interview process, by providing fully equipped halls and creating an appropriate atmosphere for students and their families, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience during the exam period. The academic committees formed in each department relied on ministerial instructions and academic and technical standards to evaluate students’ talents. These standards covered specialized knowledge, acting, voice and delivery, short script writing, camera skills, and other approved criteria.
At the conclusion of her inspection tour, the Dean commended the efforts of the examination and interview committees and their excellent organization and cooperation in ensuring the success of this academic achievement. She wished the applicants success in taking this important step toward university enrollment. She emphasized that the College of Fine Arts continues its mission to graduate a creative generation equipped with critical tools, knowledge, and the ability to practice and teach the arts, contributing to the advancement of aesthetic taste and serving the community.
