The Dean of the College meets with the first-year students… and congratulates them on their acceptance into the College of Fine Arts.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, met today, Sunday, 10-11-2024, with the first-year students of our college, in the presence of his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and heads of scientific departments.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean expressed his happiness to meet his students, congratulating them on their acceptance into our college. He gave them an overview of the establishment of the college, its scientific and societal contributions, as well as explaining the nature of attendance. Explaining to them the importance of university student life and commitment to responsibility, wishing them success in their academic career on their first day of commencement.
His Excellency explained the role of the college and its students in advancement and progress, highlighting the importance of the university teacher in building society and the positive impact as he is the first and primary educator of society. The Dean also pointed out the college’s endeavor with all its cadres to provide the ideal educational environment for students, overcome all difficulties, and find the means that serve the provision of educational outputs that contribute to building the nation.
This meeting was held as part of a series of ongoing scientific and cultural meetings held by the college deanship with students in order to raise the academic level of students, consolidate university norms and values, contribute to the advancement of the scientific process, keep pace with modernity and development, and make the academic year full of scientific achievements and innovations and rich in giving.

– Interest in curricula, interaction and cooperation between students, the department chair and the teaching staff.
– Commitment to the provisions of the Student Discipline Law and review it on the college website.
– Reviewing the college website and learning about the departments and scientific activities and their importance.

– The necessity of participating in cultural, sports and artistic activities held in the college.
– Preserving (college corridors, buildings, classrooms, gardens and attention to cleanliness).
The Dean also called on the college students to exert more effort and perseverance to achieve the highest levels of success and academic excellence. In conclusion, His Excellency wished the students an academic year full of success and excellence.
