The Dean of the College inaugurates the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and confirms the adoption of the national strategy to enable students and graduates to enter the labor market

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. ((Tahseen Hussein Mubarak)) and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. ((Alaa Shaker Mahmoud)), the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Fine Arts Education at the College of Fine Arts, held an art exhibition of the products of the students of the Department of Fine Arts today, Thursday, 28-11-2024, as part of the activities of the annual celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, stressed during the opening of the art exhibition: As we celebrate today the opening of this art exhibition in conjunction with the world’s celebrations of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, we realize the importance of this event and what it represents in terms of axes in enhancing awareness among segments of society and encouraging them to invest individual skills and talents in order to find job opportunities and contribute to meeting market needs and achieving comprehensive economic development, referring to the national strategy adopted by the esteemed Council of Ministers in this regard with the aim of motivating students and youth to interact with the variables of the labor market and technological development and invest their capabilities in the labor sector to achieve a stable economy in which the human element is the first resource for the Iraqi state.
The Dean of the College also called on the graduating students and the young people around them to continue to grow and develop by learning new skills and the necessity of maintaining positivity and optimism in life so that they can face the difficulties and challenges on the road to success, relying on what they received from higher education and what they realized from the tangible reality of life, appreciating the efforts of those in charge of this art exhibition from the professors of the Department of Art Education, wishing everyone success and good luck in their academic and professional lives.
