The Department of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala held a symposium entitled Patterns of Art Criticism in the Artistic Painting. The symposium, which was discussed by Assistant Professor of Art. Mu’ayyad Abbas Karim, included an introduction to art criticism, which stated: Art criticism is an important tool for understanding and evaluating artworks from different angles, as it helps guide artists and the public towards a deeper understanding of visual expression and aesthetic value in the artistic painting. This symposium aims to discuss the different patterns of art criticism and their impact on the analysis and interpretation of plastic works.
