The College of Arts, within Development Week, holds a workshop entitled How to Design a Commercial Advertisement

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Diyala University, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, and within the Sustainable Development Week and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division at the college, the College of Fine Arts held today, Tuesday, 7/9/2024, a workshop entitled How to Design a Commercial Advertisement.
The workshop, which was lectured by Assistant Professor Rabab Karim Keitan, and in the presence of the ladies and gentlemen of the college’s teaching staff, included several points that were addressed, the most important of which were:
Many people are searching for how to design a simple commercial advertisement, after commercial advertisements have become one of the most important marketing tools that commercial companies rely on in order to display products and services professionally, in light of the digital development that we live in in this era, and there is great importance for designing commercial advertisements in terms of:
1- Design a simple commercial advertisement that helps provide information about the product, its features, and its efficiency in meeting customer needs.
2- Education: Advertising helps provide information to customers and thus increase their culture.
3- The brand, maintaining its value in the market, and what it does by leaving a positive impression on customers.
4- Obtaining a competitive advantage among other companies
Workshop objectives:
The goal of designing a simple commercial advertisement. Designing a simple commercial advertisement provides many goals for different commercial activities, such as:
1. Product promotion
2. Increase business awareness
3. Increase the number of customers
4. Creating value for the business
5. Increase sales of the offered product
6. Increase profits
Commercial advertising is considered an effective way to achieve more profit, which comes from increasing the percentage of sales and market share.
The design of a simple commercial advertisement also includes a variety of elements necessary to provide the appropriate design form, and all possible negatives of the advertisement and the risks that it may cause must be taken into account, and then the goals and the target audience must be taken into account before starting to implement the advertisement.
