Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala held today, Monday, 7/8/2024, a workshop entitled “Creating artistic projects and marketing them on websites” in the interactive classroom in the college, in the presence of the college professors.
The workshop, which was lectured by the teacher, Dr. Muhammad Samir Muhammad, included several objectives and topics, the most important of which are:
Workshop objectives:
1. Enhancing dissemination: increasing awareness of students’ artistic works among the general public and specialists.
2. Providing employment and training opportunities: Attracting the attention of companies and institutions that may be interested in employing students or providing training opportunities for them.
3. Encourage interaction and support: Build a supportive community of artists and audiences to provide feedback and motivation.
4. Raising funding and financial support: Finding funding sources to support future student projects.

Workshop topics:
1.Digital marketing:
Social Media: Create accounts and post artwork on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Websites and Blogs: Create websites and blogs to showcase artwork and write articles about projects.
Paid Ads: Using Google and Facebook ads to reach a targeted audience.
2.Exhibitions and events:
University Exhibitions: Organizing exhibitions within universities to display student works.
Public exhibitions: Participation in public art exhibitions to introduce the public to student works.
Special Events: Organizing events and presentations of artwork.
3. Partnerships and Collaborations:
Cooperation with companies: Collaborate with local companies to obtain financial support or provide training opportunities.
Partnership with art galleries: Working with galleries to display student works periodically.
4. Media promotion:
Publishing in the media: sending news and articles to local newspapers and magazines specialized in art.
Promotion via bloggers and influencers: Collaborate with bloggers and art critics to write reviews of works.
5. Crowdfunding platforms:
Use crowdfunding platforms: Post projects on platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to gain financial support.
Results:
Increase outreach: Increase public awareness of students’ work.
Employment and training opportunities: Attracting new employment and training opportunities for students.
Building a supportive community: Create a community of supporters and followers who provide feedback and encouragement.
