The College of Arts holds a symposium entitled “Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, from childhood to revolution.”

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, and on the occasion of the fifth cultural season held by the University of Diyala and under the slogan Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the symbol of our unity, the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala organized a symposium today, Monday, 7/22/2024, entitled Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, from childhood to revolution. Assistant Lecturer Naseer Amer Shaker lectured in the interactive classroom within the College of Fine Arts and in the presence of faculty members and staff of the college. The workshop’s axes were summarized as follows: The position of the Messenger Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) starting from the birth of his grandson, Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and what this period included of events, positions and hadiths related to the Imam. As well as the movement that the Imam took against the Umayyads and how he dealt with all the events that befell him until his martyrdom, peace be upon him.
