The College of Arts holds a symposium entitled Approach to the message of Imam Hussein and its impact on our students within the fifth cultural season of the University of Diyala and under the slogan of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), the symbol of our unity.

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala organized today, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, a symposium entitled Approach to the Message of Imam Hussein and its impact on our students within the fifth cultural season of the University of Diyala and under The emblem of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) is a symbol of our unity.
The symposium, which was lectured by Assistant Lecturer Taha Abdul-Wahab Abdullah, included important topics and objectives, in the presence of the Dean of the College and the college’s teachers and employees, and in the interactive classroom hall within the College of Fine Arts, and was summarized as follows:
The symposium aimed to identify what was stated in the content of the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as it dealt with the lessons and rulings from the battle that took place in the land of Karbala (the Battle of Al-Tuff), and how Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) embodied the human teachings in this battle despite his knowledge of his martyrdom. Advice and he gave great importance to it because of the importance it represents in the Islamic religion. He gave advice to his enemies on the battlefield, and he also embodied the approach of benevolence and respect for enemies despite his knowledge of what would happen to him and his companions, peace be upon them, so he used to greet them on the battlefield.
The message of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, also embodied the true meaning of brotherhood through the sacrifice of Imam Abbas, peace be upon him, for the brotherhood of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
