The College of Arts holds a scientific symposium entitled “Director’s Tools in Radio Audio”

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Continuing Education Division, held a scientific symposium today, Tuesday, 10/22/2024, entitled “Director’s Tools in Audio Broadcasting” within the Faculty of Fine Arts.
The symposium, in which Assistant Professor Fadel Mahmoud Khader, one of our faculty’s instructors, lectured, included several objectives and axes in the presence of students of the Faculty of Fine Arts from all practical departments. The most important of these axes are:
Theoretical aspect:
1- Identifying the nature of radio directing and the features that characterized audio radio, which enabled it to occupy an important and prominent position among other media and communication means before the invention of television.
2- Identifying the technical tools of the radio director and how to work on them.
3- Identifying the components of radio art, the human voice, music and sound effects, through which an image is presented that excites the listener’s imagination.
Practical aspect: Listening to some radio works presented in different formats that drew an audio image that aroused the imagination of the participants in the symposium using words, music and sound effects.
