On the occasion of World Water Day, the College of Fine Arts is holding a number of events aimed at instilling a culture of rationalizing consumption.

On the occasion of World Water Day, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala held a number of activities on Sunday, March 23, 2025, aimed at instilling a culture of rationalizing and conserving water consumption. The Dean of the College stated, “Celebrating World Water Day represents an explicit call for everyone to actively contribute to reducing water waste and rationalizing its consumption.” He explained that the University of Diyala’s strategy for the next phase is based on relying on advanced irrigation systems and improvement techniques to rationalize water consumption. The activities also included a workshop presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar, Head of the Department of Cinema and Television Arts, and a freehand drawing exhibition in the Department of Art Education.
