On the occasion of the great victory day over the terrorist ISIS gangs… the College of Fine Arts celebrates the seventh anniversary of the liberation of Iraqi lands from the filth of terrorism.

In response to the call of the honorable Prime Minister, Professor Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. And under the generous patronage of the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud. The College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala celebrated today, Thursday, 12-12-2024, the seventh anniversary of achieving the great victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS and liberating the lands of Iraq from the filth of terrorists and obscurantists. The celebration included the ceremonies of raising the Iraqi flag and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of sacrifice and pride, in addition to delivering a speech on the occasion that focused on the national spirit and determination that characterized our war against the forces of evil and darkness. The speech also included feelings of pride and honor for our reference, Grand Ayatollah His Eminence Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (may his shadow last) and his honorable positions embodied in the fatwa of sufficient jihad and his call that was answered by men who were true to their pledge to God from the sons of our popular mobilization and our armed forces in the ranks of the army, police, Peshmerga, counter-terrorism apparatus and tribal mobilization to break the back of the terrorist Daesh. The speech included an invitation to the loyal members and students to draw lessons and morals from the victory that was achieved to continue the paths of fighting terrorism and establishing the concept of societal peace and to play their role in raising the level of awareness within the university campus to eliminate ideas that are foreign to our society. The celebration also included holding awareness lectures and film festivals that embody the heroism of the Iraqi people in confronting the force of evil and darkness.
