On the occasion of Iraqi Flag Day… A lecturer from our college wins the 2023 Group Volunteer Encouragement Award for undergraduate students.

On the occasion of the Iraqi Science Day organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the teaching assistant from our college (Ruwa Khaled Abdul Latif Al-Shihab) won the award for collective voluntary encouragement work for undergraduate students for the year 2023.
This award, presented by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, comes in appreciation of her efforts in the field of volunteer work, and the honoring took place today, Monday, corresponding to 12-30-2024, on the occasion of Science Day, within the University of Baghdad, where the award was given in appreciation of the teaching assistant’s effective contribution to serving the community and developing individuals. It is noteworthy that this volunteer work was under the direct guidance and supervision of the Deanship of the College.
For her part, the teaching assistant expressed her great happiness with this honor, stressing that volunteer work is an essential part of the social responsibility that every individual who believes in the importance of collective work in building a better society must bear. She also expressed her high thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for his generous patronage, and to the President of the University, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and to the Dean of our College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, for their continuous support of scientific activities, and to all those in charge of this award, which encourages creativity and effective contribution to society.
