In the context of raising skills… the College of Fine Arts holds a training course in Arabic calligraphy.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, and within the framework of its efforts to raise skills, the College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala held a training course in the field of Arabic calligraphy. The course, which was taught by the trainer Ahmed Saleh, included training participants on how to draw letters in the types of Arabic fonts, including Ruq’ah, Naskh, Diwani, and others… For their part, the participants in the course, which was held in the interactive hall, expressed their thanks to the Deanship of the College for its keenness and efforts to establish the rules of writing Arabic calligraphy for the members of the college and the participating guests from outside it.
