In cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Authority… The College of Fine Arts holds a dialogue seminar on the academic role in combating intellectual terrorism

In cooperation with the Diyala Operations Sector – the Twenty-Third Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts organized a dialogue seminar today, Sunday, 12-1-2024, entitled (The Academic Role of the University Professor in Combating Intellectual Terrorism), in which Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Al-Tamimi and Assistant Lecturer Taha Abdul Wahab lectured. The Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, said: The organization of this seminar comes within the framework of institutional integration to consolidate the culture of peaceful coexistence and reject the phenomenon of terrorism in all its forms and types, stressing that the doors of the college are open to all national efforts aimed at preserving our human values. The seminar, which was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar, included shedding light on the causes of the phenomenon of terrorism and intellectual extremism and ways to combat it intellectually and socially.
