Fine Arts students at the University of Diyala begin their final journey by taking final exams for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala witnessed the start of the first-semester final exams for the 2024-2025 academic year this morning, Sunday, May 4, 2025. This comes amid extensive preparations by the college’s deanship to ensure an ideal examination environment for its students.
The Dean of the College, Professor Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, accompanied by his assistants for academic and student affairs, Professor Yusra Abdul-Wahab Mahmoud, for administrative and financial affairs, Assistant Professor Hussein Muhammad Ali Shahada, and the heads of the academic departments, inspected the examination halls during a field tour that included various departments. The tour included a review of the progress of the exams and ensuring the implementation of ministerial instructions related to the examination process.
During his tour, the Dean emphasized the need to create a safe and comfortable psychological and physical environment for students, praising their commitment to attendance and discipline, and the efforts of the teaching and administrative staff to provide a calm and comfortable environment.
The college’s deanship stated that it had taken proactive measures a few days ago, including preparing exam schedules, organizing halls, and providing the necessary notebooks and papers for the exams.
Full compliance with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s instructions was also emphasized, particularly regarding monitoring mechanisms and ensuring fairness and transparency in assessment, as well as implementing academic conduct standards.
The deanship commended the role of the teaching staff in preparing for the exams and called for continued daily monitoring of the exam process and the removal of any obstacles.
In a related context, a number of college students expressed their satisfaction with the organizational procedures, noting that the calm and disciplined atmosphere helped them focus on taking the exams with confidence. They added that the college provided all the support students needed, whether through psychological counseling or guidance from professors, which contributed to boosting their morale during the exam period.
Examinations will continue over a period of two weeks, according to the schedule announced by the Central Examination Committee, under the direct supervision of the college’s deanship, which monitors every detail to ensure the success of the educational process. This exam season is a pivotal moment in the lives of students, especially fourth-year students who are preparing to embark on their professional careers after graduation.
