In continuation of the volunteer campaign launched by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, titled “Leave Your Mark” last year,
A team of professors and students from the College of Fine Arts volunteered by distributing posters and educational materials to elementary, intermediate, and middle school students in the governorate’s schools. The team included our college professors, Assistant Lecturer Ruwa Khalid Abdul Latif and Assistant Lecturer Bakr Imad Shukr.
For his part, Assistant Lecturer Bakr Imad Shukr said, “The College of Arts at the University of Diyala is witnessing continuous activity in providing volunteer services within schools in Diyala Governorate, with the aim of developing the educational and artistic environment in the region. The college relies on the creativity of its students to undertake artistic initiatives, including designing educational and cultural posters and donating them to school administrations in the governorate as part of the College of Fine Arts’ many diverse volunteer activities. This contributes to fostering a spirit of creativity and social interaction within the educational community.”
