The College of Arts celebrates its scientific departments obtaining first places in the Iraqi classification of scientific departments in Iraqi universities

The College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala, celebrated today, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the occasion of its scientific departments obtaining the first places in the Iraqi classification of scientific departments in Iraqi universities. The Department of Cinema and Television Arts and the Department of Art Education obtained first place, and the Department of Fine Arts obtained third place in the classification.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, said during the ceremony honoring the heads of the scientific departments, which was held within the College of Fine Arts, Theater Hall. This distinction came through the cohesion and concerted efforts of the college’s instructors and members, stressing the need to continue this distinction in the coming years …
For their part, the heads of the three scientific departments, the Department of Art Education, the Department of Cinema and Television Arts, and the Department of Fine Arts, confirmed that their scientific departments obtained these results through the solidarity and cooperation of the efforts of all instructors, who influenced the scientific and educational process with everything that is modern and advanced in the field of their scientific specializations.
