The Scientific Committee of the Department of Art Education holds its first meeting at the College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala.
The Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, received this morning, Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The Scientific Committee in the Department of Art Education, headed by Prof. Dr. Sami Ali Al-Amara and Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdullah Muhammad, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Ismail Kamar, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahra Jabbar, and Assistant Professor Dr. Jawad Kazem Hantoush.
The Dean of the College attended the meeting, welcoming the guests from Al-Mustansiriya and Salahuddin Universities, saying: The selection of the committee members was based on their scientific reputation in their field of specialization.
The first meeting was held in the College of Fine Arts – University of Diyala, and the attendees discussed a number of issues on their agenda, including considering the promotion transactions for some lecturers, approving the scientific plan, approving student research projects, and some other issues that fall within the tasks of the Scientific Committee.
For his part, the Dean stressed that the presence of members of the Scientific Committee from outside the University of Diyala gives scientific weight to the committee and opens up horizons for scientific cooperation.
