The Council of the Faculty of Fine Arts holds its fourth session for the academic year 2024-2025

The Council of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala held its fourth regular session for the academic year 2024-2025, headed by Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, Dean of the College, and attended by all members of the Council and the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Diyala Governorate Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Zaid Manhal, today, Monday, November 11, 2024.

The Dean began his speech by welcoming the attendees and presenting the directives issued by the Presidency of the University of Diyala, and directed the need to pay great attention to these directives and implement what was stated therein.

The Council discussed the progress of teaching for morning and evening undergraduate students, in addition to discussing several matters related to the scientific and administrative aspects of the teaching staff and their role in advancing the educational reality.

The Council also congratulated the Department of Fine Arts for the lecturer, Ruwa Khaled Al-Shihab, receiving the Best Volunteer Work Award for Undergraduate Students.

The interest in gardens and afforestation was discussed, as it has a positive impact on the psychology of students and the aesthetics of the university campus in a manner that suits the academic atmosphere.

The meeting resulted in identifying all obstacles and working to overcome them in the academic departments of the college in the service of our dear students.

The council also discussed a number of items on the agenda and made decisions regarding them.

The Dean concluded the fourth regular session of the College Council, wishing the attendees and all college members success in their work in the service of the educational and pedagogical process in our beloved country…
