Voluntary campaign to plant trees in the College of Fine Arts

The Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Hussein Muhammad Ali Hussein, followed up this morning, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the procedures of the Services Division in preparing agricultural lands in the college and starting the process of planting the college in conjunction with the initiative of the Prime Minister, Professor Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, to plant five million trees and palm trees.
For his part, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs said that we must take into account the success of the campaign and the important thing is the life of the tree and how long it will remain tall, successful and alive, pleasing the beholders and fulfilling the purpose of its planting.
The members of the College of Fine Arts in the Services Division continue their efforts to support the environment and society through a large cleaning, preparation and afforestation campaign in the College of Fine Arts, University of Diyala.
Here comes the knowledge of the types of targeted trees and their cultivation to adapt them to the environment and choose perennial and evergreen types to be able to preserve them after planting and care for them and coordinate them and the beauty of choosing the places to plant them and provide them with sufficient water and the continuity of care and attention to them falls on the shoulders of all members of the college and its students.
