The College of Fine Arts holds a training workshop for teachers of the Diyala Governorate Education Directorate

Under the patronage of the President of Diyala University, Prof. Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the College of Fine Arts at Diyala University organized a training workshop for art education teachers in the Diyala Governorate Education Directorate for the period from 14-16/10/2024 entitled Theater in Primary Schools and How to Adapt Simple Materials to Produce Theatrical Techniques.
The workshop, which was lectured by Assistant Lecturer Muhammad Khalis Ibrahim, one of our college’s instructors, and managed by Mr. Ammar Khattab Ismail, Technical Supervisor in the School Activities Directorate, Diyala Governorate Education Directorate, and in the theater hall of the College of Fine Arts, included several goals and axes, the most important of which are:
Axes:
1- Reviewing acting methods in school theater
2- The form of the theatrical actor in school theater
3- How do we invest simple materials in producing theatrical techniques that serve the educational process in theater inside the school
Objectives:
1- Forming the character of the theatrical actor inside the school
2- The role of these methods in developing theatrical acting skills among primary school students
3- Forming knowledge and knowledge among students about each method
