In order to increase green spaces and achieve sustainable development goals, the Dean participates in planting seedlings in the college gardens.
Prof. Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, participated in planting seedlings in the college gardens today, Thursday, 9/26/2024. In order to increase green spaces and achieve the sustainable development goals launched by the Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani.
This initiative comes in order to reduce the phenomenon of desertification and preserve the university environment and climate change, by planting seedlings, flowers and trees inside the college corridors.
For his part, the Dean of the College called on all college members, including professors, employees and students, to contribute effectively to supporting the initiative, by planting trees and seedlings inside the college corridors.
Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Hussein Muhammad Ali Hussein, confirmed during his accompaniment to the Dean of the College during the planting of seedlings that the initiative will include planting various seedlings of roses to achieve the goals of comprehensive sustainable development, in addition to the college’s plans to increase green spaces, which will be positively reflected on our dear students. Calling on all our dear students to contribute effectively to preserving the university environment and supporting it through their artistic works.
