The College of Arts signs a twinning and cooperation agreement with the College of Fine Arts / Ashur University

Prof. Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud signed today, Tuesday, 24/9/2024, a twinning and joint cooperation agreement with Ashur University / College of Fine Arts. It was represented by Prof. Dr. Matti Abu Boulos, representing the President of Ashur University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi.

The signing ceremony took place in an atmosphere full of love and cooperation in order to increase the bonds of cooperation between the two colleges to open new horizons in all academic fields and raise the scientific and research level.

The terms of the agreement between the two parties included several axes, including those related to the teaching staff to cooperate in developing plans and vocabulary and unifying curricula for corresponding specializations and exchanging books and sources within the joint specializations,
In addition to holding training workshops and supervising student graduation projects and cooperation in the field of e-learning and research cooperation through conducting specialized research, evaluating research, holding conferences, joint supervision and discussing graduate students’ research.
Professor Dr. Matta Abu Boulos, representative of Ashur University, said that the goal of the twinning is to: raise the scientific level and communication between the two colleges in all fields, hold periodic scientific debates between students of similar specializations, hold training workshops, and involve the two colleges’ instructors in teaching methods courses held in continuing education centers. For his part, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, said: The twinning agreement will contribute to the exchange of experiences between the two colleges at various levels, and will provide great services to instructors and students, in addition to the integration of technical and technological capabilities between the two colleges.
