The College of Arts, within Sustainable Development Week, holds a workshop entitled Economic Ideas for Industrial Design.

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, the College of Fine Arts held today, Wednesday, 7/10/2024, and within the Sustainable Development Week, a workshop entitled Economic Ideas for Industrial Design.
Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Ismail Kamer lectured in it, in the presence of the college’s teaching ladies and gentlemen, and in the interactive classroom hall within the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala. The workshop aimed to attempt to shed light on the economic ideas of industrial design.
Workshop topics and recommendations:
The workshop is concerned with focusing on innovative economic ideas for industrial design by revealing design and production methods, in order to reach knowledge of the basic foundations adopted in design.
The workshop included the following topics: design and technical direction of the industrial product, design and artificial intelligence systems. It also included a third topic for design methods, and a fourth topic for technical influences on designs.
The most important recommendations are:
– Keeping up with the aesthetic taste of the public and providing the best design methods that rely on scientific and economic foundations.
– Achieving integration between form and function.
– Paying attention to the factors affecting the design and taking into account the structural principles.
– Breaking the monotony and stagnation in design by relying on advanced innovative methods.
