The Department of Cinema and Television Arts begins discussing the graduation research of fourth-year students

Under the supervision and follow-up of Professor Dr. Alaa Shaker Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Diyala, today, Thursday, May 2, 2024, I began discussing the graduation research of fourth-year students in the Department of Cinema and Television Arts, and for the morning and evening studies.

The discussion session was attended by the Dean of the College, the Head of the Department of Cinema and Television Arts, and the department’s professors, members of the committee discussing the department’s students’ graduation research.
For his part, Mr. Dean of the College, with regard to the Department of Cinematic and Television Arts, confirmed that the department seeks to achieve and lay the foundations of education in its broadest sense, in accordance with the principles of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as developing technical skills and preparing the department’s students from the first to the fourth stage by specialists in this field to highlight and elevate them. The message of fine art, as well as the relentless pursuit of building creative and innovative students ready to engage in the cultural, artistic and social fabric in order to improve public taste by immersing these promising generations in the various requirements of the artistic and scientific process, specifically in the field of the film and television industry, starting with academic graduation in the specialization of directing and scripting. Filming and editing based on the theoretical and practical principles of each specialty, adopting methods of providing modern cognitive and technical education.
Today, our students are reaping the fruits of their efforts in previous years by demonstrating their academic levels, which were established in graduation research. We wish all our dear students in all scientific departments success and excellence.
