No One Disagrees That Diyala Was, Until Recently, One Of The Richest Governorates In Iraq In Terms Of Its Artistic, Literary, Political And Social Contributions, Benefiting From The Proximity Of Many Of Its Cities To The Capital, Baghdad, Where The People Of Diyala Used To Derive Science And Arts From The Institutes And Colleges Of Baghdad In Various Fields.

With The Scientific Openness And Great Expansion Witnessed By Iraqi Universities, Especially The University Of Diyala, It Was Necessary For The Scientific And Literary Surge Of This University To Be Accompanied By An Artistic Surge That Keeps Pace With The Urgent Need To Build The Human Being In His Artistic Dimension And Deepen The Sense Of Savoring Creative Activity, Which Pushes Society Forward, Fulfilling The Conditions For Its Emotional Integration. And Cognitive.

This Is What Made Us Put This Scientific Edifice Represented By The College Of Fine Arts Into Operation To Be The Gateway From Which The New Generation Launches Into The World Of Artistic Creativity, Taking Into Account The Necessity Of Academic Supervision Of All The Creative Energies That Arose In The Governorate.
