On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Golan Hussein Alwan, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Diyala University, met with the head of the Media and Government Communication Department and its staff to discuss mechanisms for developing media work and enhancing its role in highlighting the scientific, academic, and artistic activities within the college.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized that university media is a key partner in documenting achievements and disseminating them to the community and academic institutions. She noted that the College of Fine Arts possesses high-quality activities that deserve continuous coverage and professional presentation that reflects the college’s identity and its academic and artistic mission.

She also stressed the importance of accuracy and speed in media coverage, documenting events with photos and videos, and developing publishing methods and media content that align with the college’s vision and enhance its competitive presence both locally and internationally.

For his part, the head of the Media and Government Communication Division at the college, Engineer Anas Jumaa Marai, confirmed that media work at the college will witness developmental steps soon through the adoption of professional plans in coverage and content preparation, indicating that the division is fully prepared to implement the directives and work with a professional approach that reflects the bright image of the college and its members.
